The implementation of technology into sporting activities has allowed many people to further their skills.  How?  They are employing the use of helmet cameras and other point of view cameras to capture footage of the action as they compete.  Then, they are able to rewatch the footage from their own point of view.  When this occurs, the rider can pick up on mistakes made or areas where improvement can be made.
Many people use GoPro’s helmet cameras to help them capture this extreme, fun, and quality footage.  However, sometimes, they get more than they bargained for out of their footage.
This video depicts a dirt bike crash that was captured from footage taken because a rider was wearing a helmet camera.  While the footage makes for a great video, it also points out the fact that safety should be the top priority among those that compete in extreme sports. Many of these sports can be dangerous.  And, if these individuals are not careful they can lead to serious injuries.
Make sure that you take all safety precautions necessary to protect yourself while participating in your sport.  You will be glad you did if an accident does occur.  Safety in these extreme sports is as vital as a seatbelt is in the car.

I live by the beach.  It is not unusual for kayakers to paddle out on a daily basis.  They take their kayaks to the areas where the boats dock and start paddling out.  I have watched them on many occasions and noticed how they seem to stay in the water that is less invasive.  They avoid heavy surf whenever possible because it makes it more difficult for them to maintain their balance.
When I first saw this video I was expecting to see the traditional kayaker out for a morning ride on the water.  At first, this is what you see.  The water is relatively calm and it seems like a normal kayaking experiencing.  Then, however, the pace changes quickly.  Things speed up and the kayakers need to be more skilled in order to stay afloat.
How is this all captured?  Well the extreme footage is caught on tape thanks to the use of point of view cameras.  The kayaker is wearing a helmet camera while riding.  This camera is waterproof.  And, as you can see the video footage that it captures is quite good.  These cameras are a fun way to spice up any sporting activity.  You can replay any adventure that you participate in!
