ContourHD Firmware Upgrade
This firmware upgrade enables you to configure the Video and Lighting settings on your ContourHD camera using the Configure Menu in the latest version of VholdR’s Easy Edit™ Software. With this firmware, you will be able to adjust the Video Bit Rate and Microphone Sensitivity as well as the Contrast, Exposure, Sharpness, and Metering.

NOTE: This firmware upgrade is NOT for the ContourHD1080p. The firmware upgrade is for the ContourHD Camera only (Model # 1200). The features included with this upgrade are already available on the ContourHD1080p Camera so no firmware upgrade is required for the 1080p model.

Awesome, the video quality will be just as good as any hd helmet cam. Now Contour just needs to make better/more mounts

Contour is always in the progress of making new mounts. Some of their newest mounts include the RAM Roll Bar Kit, Headband mount, Rotating Flat Surface Mount, Picatinny Mount, Surf-Wake Mount, Profile Mounts, and the XL Handle bar mount. They are currently underway with a waterproof case for the ContourGPS.
