The Oregon Scientific ATC9K now in Stock

ATC9K

Good things are worth the wait… and all that patience has paid off because the ATC9K from Oregon Scientific has arrived and is now in stock at PointofViewCameras! Filming in 1080p, the ATC9K is specifically targeted toward extreme sports junkies and professionals looking to take their recordings to the highest level without overloading themselves with excess equipment. The ATC9k sports an optional GPS plug in, but also boasts a feature not offered by other GPS models, a big, bright LCD display… now this is a feature worth making noise about!

The super slick ATC9K camera films through a 135ยบ lens, in true 1080p High Definition format, capturing your recordings at 30 frames per second, but also provides the opportunity to swap down to 720p, which is great for keeping file sizes manageable, without sacrificing HD. The other nice thing about the 720p setting is the fact that it’s capable of grabbing sharp footage at 30 or 60 frames per second. Have you ever seen slow motion playback at 60fps? It is buttery, smooth and just plain delicious!

But wait there’s more!

As if you weren’t already extremely excited, but the ATC9K brings a few more skookum features to the table, like the ability to shoot 5 megapixel still imagery, with the remote or without! Oh yeah! It has a remote too! The remote has a range of 5 meters and is extremely useful for grabbing shots when the camera may not be in such a convenient spot where you can’t see the buttons… like your head… or a tree… you get it. This thing is totally adaptable to multiple environments! Speaking of adaptable… this camera is a water baby through and through with a depth rating of up to 20 meters… and the best part… there’s no need for a waterproof case because the body of the ATC9K is waterproof - all on its own!

With so many features… who can count?

I could go on and on, but I won’t. If you want to read more about the Oregon Scientific ATC9K, check out this blog post, which covers its features from head to toe. But for now, all you need to know is that it is available now and it qualifies for free shipping!

Come and get it!

I want to buy the new ATC9K.  Where can I order the GPS unit? and how much?  Also which 32 mb card should I add to the order? Would love to see your test video.
Thanks!

Hi, the GPS module isn’t available yet, but it will be soon. So check back soon, because it is coming. We are just waiting to hear on its release date. It will be approximately $70 USD.
