Great product for a great price. Review by Chimo_Sapper
Rating This is a very good product for the price. Super easy to use and set up and the image quality is amazingly clear. I use this currently in Afghanistan for my patrols and it captures everything with its wide lense. Audio is good too, not as good as the video quality though. Goggle mount is firm and holds in place very well. Very please with this purchase. (Posted on 1/3/10)

Not bad, could be better. Review by mb104
Rating I just used this for the first time in a Pennsylvania quarry. I turned it on before entering the water, and turned it off after I got out almost an hour later. The video quality is very good, and it picks up audio well. The images are clear, and should be since it's advertised as high definition.
Being this is a first edition (I hope they make some improvements in the next generation, so lets be optimistic), I hope a few changes are made in the next version. First, when seating the mask skirt under a hood, it is very easy to hit the button to change it from video to still image (or reverse), and it can be accidentally shut off. There is a blue or red light (depending whether you are shooting video or still images) that is difficult to see while wearing the mask. It is visible, just not clearly. It would be nice if there was a clear display a little lower. Also, each time I exhaled, the bubbles caused the mask and camera to shake, which is clearly visible in the video. As for the scope of view, the camera seems to be shooting higher than most divers are really looking. When checking my computer, all you see is the top of my console or computer. It would be nice if the camera was even a little adjustable, so it can be tilted up or down depending on what the user is doing.
Overall, I'd say this is a hit! Even if there are a few negatives, I was really happy with this mask. I took it to 75' (not deep) for 49 minutes in 45 degree water, and it recorded the entire dive. I can't wait to use it off the Jersey shore for some wreck diving. Now if you can make one to go a little deeper! (Posted on 1/1/10)

poor Review by dagwodzz
Rating Contour HD test against the Vado HD 2nd Gen
Truth is the Contour HD is SAD! Poor low light video and soft. I don't see how they get away saying its HD.
With some clever thought you can mount the Vado HD 2nd Gen any place you can mount the Contour HD using their mounting systems.
In the end its about the video. The Vado runs circles around the Contour at half the price. (Posted on 12/29/09)

Awesome Review by skiwakeboard
Rating Got my last week, went out yesterday and did 1 hour of filming. Put it on my 3 1/2 year old's ski helmet and then my own. Video is awesome! Very happy with the product, looking to but a 2nd battery and suction mount for the car! (Posted on 12/25/09)

crisp video Review by skydawg53
Rating The video is good in both 720p and 960p, but the 1080p is out of this world! I just got one a couple of weeks ago and did a few test runs to check out the quality and it is beyond my expectations. Amazing quality and image stabilization! The 5mp pictures are great too.
Buy one and enjoy! (Posted on 12/22/09)

Great Camera for the Price, don't use 1/4x20 mount, period Review by abnorm
Rating Bought late summer in 2009, use it on my Nacra. It gets very wet and keeps recording. Audio stinks, but for my purposes, I don't care. Always use the heavy duty velcro straps and clip mount. The 1/4x20 mount is not suitable for anything but desktop use. videos are here ... http://www.youtube.com/abnorm58. I may go HD next year, but this works great and does what I want.

I hope its good Review by DMN
Rating well, im investing in this soon but i don't want it to point to the ground aas much as that other person said it does. If I raise it up high enough on my chest will the camera get a better view of what i'm seeing and the hills that i climb? Because watching dirt and rocks go by isn't very fun to watch. I rated this 3 stars because i still dont know how it will work out. (Posted on 12/9/09)
