To fully charge the Solio BOLT's battery, it does take 8-10 hours of sun, or 4.5 hours plugged into the wall/USB port of your computer. Once you have a full charge on the BOLT, you will be able to get nearly two complete charges on your HTC EVO. If you are looking for a battery pack for your EVO, the BOLT is where it is at! The BOLT is essentially like any other battery pack on the market, it just has the added benefit of solar charging in case you are away from the grid (Posted on 4/14/12)
