With the release of the new ATC MINI Oregon Scientific have a new host of mounts Hard Shell helment mount, Surf mount, Handle Bar mount, ATC9K suction mount. Granted you will need to purchase the ATC conversion kit if you wish to use the ATC Mini mounts with your ATC9K but well worth it.

Some of the mounts are almost a copy of the GO PRO (Posted on 2/9/12)

Like 'ISCRAIGH' my experience was a stressful one.

After one day I managed to crack the lens, Im not even sure how. Im humid conditions the camera is useless due to misting.

I contacted Oregon Sci UK, after weeks of toing and throwing they eventually confirmed the camera CANNOT be repaired and offered me a 25% reduced price on a new camera... which if broken will be rendered useless again.. lol

The front glass lens cracked and unlike contour or go pro you cannot buy a replacement. This makes the camera an expensive throwaway. Buy a contour or a go pro and if something breaks (it's an action cam) then you can fix it. (Posted on 12/9/11)

OS has not only outdone themselves with the helmet cam but everyone else in the industry. The pic clarity is wonderful. When played back over an HD tv or pc, you will be blown away by the clarity. Sound is easy to adjust sensitivity and the pocket remote allows for easy start and stop. No one films up hill anyway. Downloading from the cam chip (must buy separately and don't cheap out, go big) to you computer is as simple as it gets and the cd provided allows for professional quality editing. Can't wait to try this baby this ski season. I havent had a problem mounting it to a helmet of any kind or handlebars as notes by previous post. Guess you just have to plan and think of the activity. Dont ever mount this camera on a surfboard/ boogy board or anything else that you take in the waves....with the supplied mounting kit...it will come off.and you will lose it unless you use a lanyard as a backup..the supplied silicone strap gets ripped off nomatter how tight you make it / or the plastic mounting thread the small one (1/4 whitworth camera mounting thread)
will break.......and it doesnt float...( I KNOW )
