RAM Mounts Windshield Mount Kit for POV Cameras

This Mount Kit allows you to securely mount your POV Camera with a 1/4"-20 thread Tripod connector to your vehicles windshield or body.

RAM Mounts are rigid and solid when locked in place. Since they use ball joints and a single tightening clamp in the socket arm, you can easily loosen both axles of movement at the same time. Simply position the camera where you want it, then tighten down the the giant wing nut and it all locks in place instantly. All RAM Mounts are marine-grade, rubber or powder-coated aluminum and stainless steel and made in the USA.

The RAM-B-237, universal camera and camcorder base consists of a 1" diameter rubber ball, connected to a 1/4-20 camera thread. The male thread matches to our Tripod Mount adapters and cameras with the female threads.

The RAM-B-224-1, composite twist lock mount consists of a 3.25" rubber base that has a is connected to the diamond base with 1" rubber ball. RAM Mounts Roll Bar Mount Kit for POV Cameras

This Mount Kit is a great choice for you racers. It's strong enough to hold a full-size camcorder under the most grueling conditions. This mount fits roll bars up to 2" in diameter and is super stable and easily adjusted by turning one knob. You to securely mount your POV Camera with a 1/4"-20 thread Tripod connector.

RAM Mounts are rigid and solid when locked in place. Since they use ball joints and a single tightening clamp in the socket arm, you can easily loosen both axles of movement at the same time. The H2OV is a hand built custom housing, it is small and rugged and ideal for reef, wreck, or cave diving. Together with the ContourHD camera, you get a point and shoot, wide angel video system that is easy to use and will capture all your dives in High Definition. The H2OV can be mounted to dive helmets, light systems, handle mounts, tanks, scooters, even your mask with the use of a VholdR Goggle Mount and a simple conversion to remove the TRails. Each housing comes with a universal 1/4-20 mounting plate, extra O-rings, and a one year warranty.

The latches on the H2OV are spring loaded and include a safety catch to prevent accidental opening. Simply insert the camera with the power and record switch in the off position, and insert with the bottom of the camera facing the felt pads. The camera's small lanyard can be tucked along side the camera to allow room for the cover (the lanyard will also allow you to easily remove the camera from the housing). Inspect that the sealing surfaces are clean and free of any foreign particles. Place the cover on the housing making sure that it is seated properly. Set both latches loosely on the hooks of the cover then press down on both latches at the same time. Look to see that you have a good seal, you should see a solid black line on the o-ring.

To turn the camera on, firmly press the power control button on the back of the housing. To start recording, simply rotate the control knob clockwise. To stop recording, rotate the control knob counter clockwise.

Whether your UTV or ATV is bone stock or loaded with accessory racks and guards, the RAM UTV Strap Base lets you choose the best possible mounting location for almost anything. Designed for a clean installation, this base accommodates most common tubing sizes on UTV’s and ATV's, allowing for the placement of the RAM rubber ball base. Safely concealing a strap clamp in a compact housing, you won’t have to worry about exposed sharp edges or unwanted loosening. The RAM UTV Mount Kit can also be attached to smaller diameter handlebars on ATVs using the included u-bolt hardware. With the ball base in place, you have the foundation for mounting your Point of View Camera, GPS, Cell Phone, Radio, etc.

The Preview Mode is very useful for setting up the desired camera angle before recording. In the Preview Mode the live camera image is displayed on the LCD screen but the camera is not recording. This allows accurate adjustment of the camera’s field of view without using up valuable memory.

Reviewing the recorded footage on the VX360 is easily achieved without having to wait to download the footage to computer or plug the unit into a TV. The combination of the 2.5” LCD screen and integrated controls means that you can review the captured video in the field as soon as it’s safe to do so. Liquid Image Blue Water Lens Filter

Use the Blue Water Filter with natural sunlight in shallow blue-green tropical fresh and salt water. The filter is designed to bring out the colors underwater from slightly below the surface to approximately 24ft / 8m. The maximum depth will depend on the amount of natural light and water clarity. The Blue Water Filter is ideal for Video and Still images. The filter is a wet mount which means you can take the filter off and put it on under water. Once you get to below 24ft / 8m, you may need to take off the filter and turn on your lights to capture the colors. The filter can be snapped onto the large cap for storage during the dive or be snapped onto the front of the camera lens while underwater.

Colors underwater are not as vibrant as above water because of the filtering effect of natural light wavelengths by water. Warm colors such as red, orange, and yellow are diminished within a few meters under water and change dramatically as you go deeper. The Filters help the digital camera color correct for this effect and bring out the colors. There are computer programs that color correct images and video as an attempt to bring back the colors lost when not utilizing a filter. However, videos are difficult to manipulate after the video has been shot and a filter is highly recommended for video use.

The filter is essential for vivid colors for depths of just below the surface down to 24ft (8m). The filter should be removed for deeper dives and for dives utilizing external light sources. The filter is a wet mount and can be put on and taken off underwater. The Filter snaps onto the front lens for use and onto the large cap for storage.
