Good idea, but beware Review by Jesster
Rating Works great on paintball gun, airsoft and small caliber "real" guns. But does not hold up to recoil from medium - large caliber rifles or shotguns. I broke mine in 5 shots when mounted on a 12 ga. (Posted on 1/12/12)

Ok camera Review by Twig
Rating The 30 fps is too slow for what I was looking for. I snowboard and the camera doesn't keep up with me. It seems slow and lagging. Otherwise one of the simplist cameras to use and the sleek design is nice for recording your activities and allowing your hands to be free. (Posted on 1/10/12)

Excellent case! Review by Jimbo
Rating I got this little unit here for scuba diving in Mexico, hit 100 feet down with 0 issues. Crystal clear view and super easy to use. With the weight of the camera and the displacement of the case, it makes it basically neutrally bouyant. Got excellent video of sharks and sea lions. A MUST have if you intend to use for watersports. Had other divers tell me they paid $2000.00+ for underwater cameras that took worse video. (Posted on 1/4/12)

Disappointing Review by Mr. Cairo
Rating Service with Point of View is first rate.
The Contour Connect View card works as advertised. HOWEVER....not without a few issues. Took a bit to get it set up as the camera needed several software updates first. After shooting a scene you need to re-establish the bluetooth connection in order to set up the camera again. The card has a tendency to freeze up as well. A big pain if you're on the trail and your buddies are waiting for you to mess around with your camera.
It's a cool idea but still has some issues that need to be resolved. (Posted on 10/30/11)

Great entry level camera Review by Chas
Rating This a great camera for first time users. If all you want is a solid, dependable, and rugged camera without a lot of bells and whistles, then this is the camera for you. It's as simple to use as any device out there. One limitation is that you have to connect the camera to the computer in order to change the settings. If you do a lot of high speed or slow mo video, then the 30 fps may not cut it. If you just want a camera to record your rides and post them online, then this is the camera for you. It's light and has a smaller profile than the gopro camera. The waterproof to 1 meter is nice especially if you get caught in the sudden downpour. There are a lot of different mounts. I recommend the helmet strap and flex strap mount. The video quality is great. At 720p the FOV is 170 degrees. At 1080p the FOV is 135 degrees. The mic is okay. Overall very pleased with the camera and the price is second to none. (Posted on 10/18/11)

Rating This camera is compact & tough. Looking forward to trying it from 12,000 feet above. I'm more than satisfied with the picture quality. Well worth the cost. (Posted on 7/31/11)

Good quality and sturdy mount! Review by Dragonboy
Rating Contour is probably the only company that manufactures a proper picatinny rail mount for the Contour HD camera. I use this mount on paintball marker and it has never come lose or fallen apart during a match. Very good quality construction and easy to use. The only con is that it is quite expensive for what it is but you get what you pay for... Minus 1 star for price. (Posted on 7/1/11)
